Driving should be enjoyable. At Mazda, we are always taking steps to improve the driving experience. We are so passionate about this that we will obsess over a small detail for years even if it is something you will not even notice. If it improves the driving experience then it’s worth it. This is exactly what we did with G-Vectoring Control (GVC) technology.

While driving, we are constantly adjusting our steering even when driving in a straight line. This results in driver fatigue over time, especially on long trips. GVC works behind the scenes by subtly adjusting engine torque to optimize vehicle weight transfer when driving. This adjustment is so subtle you will not even notice it but the difference it makes is significant. The result is steering that is more precise and a ride that is more comfortable for all.

More Confidence

Due to irregularities and undulations in the road surface, your vehicle does not always travel along the expected line. This forces you to make steering corrections. With GVC, your MAZDA3 responds to driver inputs with less steering adjustments, so your vehicle behaves as you intend and you enjoy a more confident drive.

Enhanced Peace of Mind

GVC enhances handling, stability and the feeling of the tires gripping the road. You’ll gain an even greater feeling of control and security during evasive maneuvers as well as in rain, snow and on poor road surfaces.

More Comfort

Fatigue steadily builds as you continue to make minor steering corrections. GVC helps reduce these corrections, especially over long distances. Plus, smooth transitions between G-forces, suppresses head and body sway. This allows for a more comfortable ride for you and your passengers.
