MAZDA3 WINS AGAIN: AJAC’S BEST MID-SIZE CAR

The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) awards are presented on a yearly basis, and represent the most sought-after automotive awards in Canada. For 2021, the Mazda3 wins again! For the second year running, the Mazda3 won it's category. And, it is also 13th time the Mazda3 has done so since the award was introduced. The 2021 Mazda3 is again eligible to win the overall 2021 Canadian Car of the Year award by topping the competition in the mid-sized category.
The Mazda3 and Mazda3 Sport offer 3 engine choices. The economical 2L Skyactiv gasoline engine is our most fuel-efficient. The mid-range 2.5L naturally aspirated version increases the power (standard on the AWD). The muscular 2.5L turbo engine, which pumps out up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, is for the enthusiast.
The i-Activ AWD system uses 27 sensors to predict changing road conditions 200 times per second. The system reacts immediately, distributing power to each wheel as needed. This ensures that the vehicle always remains in perfect harmony with the driver. Mazda's i-Activ All-wheel drive comes standard on the 100th Anniversary Edition, and is optional on the GS and GT trims.
What sets the Mazda3 apart is the refinement and value-for-dollar these vehicles represent - a premium driving experience at a decidedly non-premium price.
